MEET BRAD AND STEPHANIE

Brad has lived in Northern Virginia his entire life, growing up in Burke. While in college, he was introduced to the world of specialty coffee, immediately falling in love with the craft. Through this Brad realized the calling he felt towards service. After graduation, he became a barista at Rare Bird Coffee Roasters and was promoted to General Manager after 3 months. He spent the next 3 years at Rare Bird working directly with the owners and learning all of the operations of a successful Café. He helped direct and grow the business to see its first profitable year since its opening in 2014.

Stephanie was born and raised in Houston, Texas. While studying vocal performance in college, she started her career in the coffee industry at a small local roastery as a roasting assistant. There she discovered her passion for coffee and its culture. Wanting to focus her studies to reflect her passions, she completed her schooling studying accounting technologies. She continued to learn the details of coffee business while working at several shops, continuing to do so after she moved to Virginia in 2022. Most recently she helped open Frame Coffee Roasters in Vienna, Virginia, in 2023.
